Beatrix has 12 years experience in Somatology, literally meaning 'the sum of what is known about the body'. As a Somatologist, Beatrix is concerned with the treatment and prevention of disorders involving the skin and body. During this period Beatrix was involved in the lecturing of Somatology students at the Natal Technikon and administration and project management at the South African Association of Health and Skincare Professionals. EDUCATION National Diploma - Beauty Technology: Wits Technikon, 1991 Higher Diploma - Somatology: Natal Technikon, 1996 Somatology Lecturer: Natal Technikon, 1992 - 1997 Beatrix also completed courses in Shiatsu, Massage Therapy and Sports Massage. She worked part-time for the Natal Sharks rubgy team and joined the South African athletic team to the All African Games, 1995, in Zimbabwe as Sport Therapist.
